Amanda Casari and I launched a new project, called Open Source Stories, with the goal to capture the untold stories around open source and open source contributors. Open Source Stories recognizes that open source is so much more than what we can find in a repository; it's about how we collaborate, communicate, create communities, and more.
Right now, we are conducting facilitated storytelling sessions with invited participants using StoryCorps, and create transcripts of each session to post on the website. Once we have solidified the process, we will open sign-ups to all!
If you would like to get involved, we would love to have you! Our GitHub repository has a few issues in it now, along with ways to contribute. Or, reach out to us at contribute@opensourcestories.org!
